With statistics saying 77% of Australians now own or have access to a mobile phone, competition is fierce.

Nokia takes their brand to the streets

Nokia recently launched the new N-Gage QD, a mobile game deck with wireless and online gaming technology. In order to get closer to their audience, Nokia sent out N-Gage vans with vibrant graphics to special events, such as the Electronic Arts Games.

With graphics by Designtroupe, the vans feature profile cut phones contrasted by the black background. Graphics were printed onto vehicle conformable self-adhesive vinyl. Vinyl lettering was also fixed to the roof of the car to attract attention from buildings above. The vehicle interior had graphic applications too, which could be seen when promotional items were distributed.

By utilising a mobile platform and employing graphics that appeal to the market’s senses, Nokia made a truly unique impression.
