The Sydney 7 News Centre is one of the most technologically advanced digital television centres in the world.

Technology and design merge at Channel 7

Based in Martin Place, the new studio is the home of Seven’s news broadcasts, Sunrise and Today Tonight, all shot in the one location.

Because the studio connects with the public through a glass-faced front onto Martin Place diffusing panels needed to be put in place. These help to overcome any lighting issues or external disruptions that may be visible through the glass during broadcasts. Through the use of Duraclear graphics, Duratrans and double sided mesh, dulling external light or creating privacy can be achieved as needed. Take a look for yourself and catch up with the news at 6pm weeknights on Channel 7, Sydney.

Flexibility allows multiple sets to share the space
