Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a chance to relax, recuperate and get ready for a great 2003!

Due to requests in response to last year’s Trade Show special broadcast, each e-newsletter we will now include a downloadable calendar on upcoming exhibitions and events. This year we will be including more of these special broadcasts, which delve into areas such as trade shows, retail fit-outs and interior design.

If any one has any suggestions on topics for our e-newsletter, drop me a line.

ShopSmart Outlet Centre

The ShopSmart Outlet Centre, located in the heart of Sydney’s west in Mount Druitt, has been established on the site of a former shopping centre. This location means that it has had to take on a totally new look to that of its previous occupant, requiring the existing building to be both extended and extensively refurbished. Distinctive entry and building features coupled with major “billboard” type signage and flags ensure customers recognise ShopSmart as something very different and unique. On the inside, high-quality, photographic Lambda prints are mounted to metal frames, which sit above shop windows. The overall look is fresh, vibrant and effective in creating a totally new “factory outlet” centre ambience.

Sydney Theatre Company

Sydney Theatre Company wanted to integrate the theme of their catalogue with their season’s opening night. Their magnificent catalogue features 12 photographic portraits of the stars of each show placed in a real-life setting. This concept was reiterated on opening night when the portraits used in the catalogue were presented one-by-one on stage. The photographic portraits were printed onto Fredrix artist canvas, which is now available in sizes up to 3 meters wide, by any length printed on our solvent based inkjet Vutek 5300.

Our two new products this month demonstrate that you can have the versatility benefits of changeable graphic systems whilst still having a high-quality, ‘permanent’ look.

Flexi-Screen

Flexi-Screen

This multiway hinged, three-fold screen can be straightened flat or positioned into a variety of shapes. Using magnets, the cost effective, Ingrid prints can be changed-over at anytime at minimal expense. Additional hinged panels can easily be added.

Mag-Frame

The Mag-Frame mounts your graphics magnetically inside a well-finished wooden frame. The major benefit of using this type of system for retail interiors is that shop staff can change the look of their store and move products and product categories at anytime without the aid of professional installers.

Summary

A Restoration comedy masterpiece of wit and complexity directed by Gale Edwards. The cast includes the marvellous Miriam Margolyes as Lady Wishfort, Damian de Montemas (The Secret Life of Us) and Genevieve O'Reilly (A Man With Five Children). The astute satire on the sordid facts and follies of the world is as relevant today as when it premiered in 1700.
