L: Laurens' winning entry - "Revamp"
R: Lauren visited the Sydney showroom to pick-up her super-sized cheque - perhaps taking the bus home wasn’t such a great idea?

Lauren Babula, of Paddington NSW, is the winner of the Flash Digital Wallpaper Design Competition and has received the first place prize money of $5000. Lauren’s design, entitled “Revamp”, was chosen out of more than 550 entries.

Seven design industry professionals judged the entries, including Tom Williams from IdeaWorks. Tom ranked “Revamp” high on his list and commented that he loved “the colour & subtle texture created in layering of imagery…1 roll please!”

Lauren explained that her winning entry was taken from period pieces and re-interpreted for modern use. Through researching Victorian-style homes, Lauren gained inspiration from decorative ceilings, interiors and iron-lace work. These ideas have been brought back to life in her intricate design - “Revamp”

Lauren has recently started as an assistant designer at Indesign magazine after graduating with honours from the College of Fine Arts in Paddington.

Flash now displays the 60 finalists displayed on our website for you to place your vote!

Display wall - self adhesive vinyl and gloss prints

The latest development by Multiplex Living has given inner-city apartments a totally new feel and outlook. The display suite designed provides visitors with an experience that conjures thoughts of stress-free living within the heart of bustling Sydney.

Atria’s overall theme is that “green city living” is possible. Multiplex used lifestyle imagery to highlight possible activities of recreation mixed with the benefits of quick and easy access to city locations.

Sheer Voile Banners

Product Focus
A semi-transparent, sheer material, Voile is lightweight and can be hung like a banner without entirely blocking out light. Within Multiplex’s suite, this particular product feature creates texture and an effective second layer of imagery when combined with the flat wall graphics.

Curved Lightwall from inside the store

Instead of installing a traditional light box, Scrapbooks Plus took what they liked about backlit vinyl and curved it! Because of the location of its store, Scrapbooks Plus required a graphic that would curve with the shape of the corner window, providing them with the best external display to passers-by.

The double-sided light box also makes the most of the visual coverage from inside the store.

For more details on this project or light boxes please contact emma.watkins@flash.com.au
