In this issue we take a look at Melbourne during the Commonwealth Games. The success certainly needs to be attributed to the organisers, sports men and women, the volunteers and all the behind the scene workers. Melbourne was showcased as a vibrant and exciting city.

An amazing event and great looking venues all added to the excitement. In this news edition we take a fly on the wall look at some of those venues.

Also, our new look website is now launched, check it out at www.flash.com.au. There's some great specials and we'll be updating it regulary so keep your eye out.

One of the spectacular venues, The Diving Pool was designed by the M2006 team.

The M2006 team was after a visually seamless backdrop that would sit to either side of the main diving platform. The platform itself would be painted a blue to match the backdrop and the final result was be a sea of blue that was not only a branding exercise but created an exciting environment for both divers and spectators alike.

Around 30 media backdrops were needed to cover a multitude of locations around Melbourne and the Express Stand was seen as the best option.
