BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is Australia's largest coal producer and a leader in the international coal industry. BMA is distinguished by the quality of its assets, its commitment to sustainable development and support for the communities in which BMA operates.

Schiavello and Geyer Design have created a corporate workplace, in the new Riparian Plaza, Brisbane that reflects this.

Visitors will first be impressed by the enormous images that decorate the walls of the entrance lobbies.

The centre piece 'Our Charter', in the entrance lobby, uses glass containers filled with coal, beautiful photographic imagery and translucent lettering to create a layered effect. This effect creates a powerful image and reinforces the BMA brand.

The 'Club' breakout areas for staff to relax and refresh with graphics that run across the walls and ceilings.

Translucent PhotoGlass^® was used and to create privacy on glass divider walls.

The overall effect is a stunning corporate environment that, not only impresses the first time visitor but supports staff and illustrates their market position as an industry leader.
